We build your AI voice. Then we tune it to you.

Your AI sounds like everyone's AI.

Every brand running on AI tools ends up with the same average voice, because the tools learned to write from everyone at once. We measure how your brand actually sounds on 8 channels, formality through to boldness, and score each one from 0 to 10. Then we write the rules your AI has to follow to keep your voice intact, draft after draft. Install them once and everything your AI writes sounds like you, launch day and refund note alike.

01 · The problem

Meet Default Voice.

When nobody engineers the voice settings, AI writes from the statistical average of the internet. Competent, but meh. Invisible in one email. Devastating across thousands, because every send teaches your customers you sound like everyone else. And once you sound like everyone else, price is the only reason left to pick you. With a solid brand voice, people recognise your email before they see the logo, and buy before they've compared a single price.

02 · The fix

Voice as a setting: 8 measurement channels your AI understands

"Friendly, bold, authentic" means nothing to a language model. (Your customers can't measure it either, btw.) So we stopped describing voice and started measuring it with eight channels, zero to ten, set like faders on a mixing console. Every position is enforceable in copy. Every position is checkable in whatever your AI writes.

F

Formality

street ↔ ceremony

How dressed up the language is. F2 texts you. F9 sends its regards.

L

Lexicon

plain ↔ elevated

The size of the words. L2 says use. L9 says utilize, and means it.

T

Tempo

clipped ↔ flowing

The rhythm of the sentences. Percussion at one end, strings at the other.

W

Warmth

reserved ↔ intimate

How close you stand to the reader. Firm handshake, or a hand on the shoulder.

S

Stance

peer ↔ authority

Who's talking: a fellow traveler, or the expert in the room.

E

Energy

serene ↔ electric

The voltage on the page. Spa-quiet to can't-skim-past.

H

Humor

earnest ↔ irreverent

How much play is allowed, and what kind. Sincere, wry, or full on wink.

B

Boldness

diplomatic ↔ provocative

How many fights you'll pick, and with whom.

04 · How it works

How your voice gets engineered

Spoiler alert: this ends with a voice guide your humans will actually use, and a machine spec that pastes into your AI stack whole. Klaviyo, ChatGPT, Claude, your agency's agents, whatever ships next.

The Soundcheck

We analyze what you actually send. Sentence length, hedging, warmth markers. The truth, measured.

The Session

A live identity and voice workshop. Word sorts, forced choices, gut faders. Recorded, always.

The Mix

We compare three things: what you declare, what you demonstrate, what you want. Then the verdict.

The Master

The Human Guide and the Machine Spec, versioned and dated. Written in your voice, as proof.

The Release

Installed in your stack together, then calibrated for 30 days on the copy you actually write. You log what you changed, and a patch lands every Friday.

MODE A · VOICE DISCOVERY

You have a voice. Nobody's pinned it down.

It lives in the founder's instincts and the best 20% of your copy, and gets diluted by every new writer and tool. We measure it, fix its contradictions, and encode it.

MODE B · VOICE CREATION

The voice doesn't exist yet. Let's build it.

We build it from the founder's vision and anchor it in how you actually talk so it's sustainable. Or as a designed character your system performs. You approve the copy (not the numbers behind it).

05 · Aftercare

Your voice gets calibrated on what you actually write.

Brand voice isn't an exact science. I turn it into numbers anyway, because numbers are what the machines can follow. The humans reading your copy (you included) still catch things the numbers miss: the word that's a shade too cheerful, the joke that lands a beat late, the sentence that's nearly you. Those nuances show up in your edits, and the calibration period exists to collect them. For 30 days after install, you write with the spec, I read what you changed, and every Friday the spec moves a little closer to you.

Week 2 · patch every Friday
Week 3 · patch every Friday
Week 4 · patch every Friday

  • The logYou write real pieces with the spec installed, and paste what the AI gave you and what you changed into your Calibration Log.
  • The patchEvery Friday something new landed in the log, a patch ships, and you reinstall one file.
  • Day 30Your spec is stamped calibrated and your Reveal Deck arrives. Days 31 to 60: if a new kind of piece trips it up, tell me and I add the rule it needs. The voice stays as signed.

The spec has to be installed in the tools writing your copy. A spec in a drawer sounds like a drawer.

On the Starter Spec: two patches within 14 days, by email. Send what the AI wrote and tell me what didn't click (be as specific as you can). Then I patch it up and send you an updated version.

  • Find out what your brand actually sounds like, as a number (we don’t do “vibes”)
  • See which of the 10 voice types you're closest to, and how far from generic you really are

What you get: your voice type, your eight-channel print, and a full personal reading of what every number means for your copy. Think of it as the tasting: a real, measured pour of your voice, with the Starter Spec as the full bottle.

The quiz reads what you say about your own voice. It hands you your numbers and stops there. Writing the rules your AI follows is the Starter Spec's job.

The wrongness you can't name gets a name. That alone is worth three minutes.

The included patches come first: 14 days of them on the Starter, 60 days of calibration and cover on the Session. Done-for-you Deployment of your existing email flows exists too, and we talk about that after your Session, not before. (Prices are in USD, and your bank handles any conversion at checkout. Prices rise as the founding 100 fills, and rises get announced first. There are no countdown timers here, because I don't do those.)

07 · Questions

Questions I actually get.

What is a Voiceprint, and what do the eight numbers mean?
Your Voiceprint is your brand voice written as a coordinate: eight channels (Formality, Lexicon, Tempo, Warmth, Stance, Energy, Humor, Boldness), each scored zero to ten, where five is the market average. A print like F2 · W7 · H8 describes a casual, warm, funny brand in three settings. The numbers matter because a language model can obey a number and cannot obey "friendly but bold."
Is this a course?
No. You answer questions and sort words, and I do the engineering. What you receive is a finished instrument: a document with voice instructions your AI tools follow. There is nothing to study and there is no module three.
Which AI tools does it work with?
It works with any tool that accepts written instructions. The spec ships in three sizes so it fits ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Klaviyo's brand voice fields alike. When a new tool ships next year, the spec pastes into that one too, because the spec is text, and text is portable.
How is this different from the brand guide I already have?
Your brand guide describes your voice to humans, usually in a few adjectives on page 12. A human reads "friendly but bold" and fills the gaps with taste. A language model reads it politely and obeys none of it. The Voiceprint spec gives the machine what it can actually follow: numbers, rules, and hard bans. You should keep the brand guide, because it still does the human half.
Can’t I just ask my AI to write my brand voice guide for me?
You can, and it will hand you something that looks right: a tidy page of adjectives, a mission statement, maybe a “we’re playful yet professional.” There’s a catch (isn’t there always?). That guide was written by the exact machine whose default voice you’re trying to escape, describing you in the average language of every brand guide it has ever read. Then you feed it back to the same machine and ask it to obey adjectives, which it can’t do reliably on a Tuesday. The Voiceprint works because it’s built the other way around: your voice gets measured (from your real copy, your choices under pressure, a discussion about the gaps) and turned into numbers and hard rules a model can actually follow. The AI is the performer here. It should never also be the judge of who you are.
What if the copy still does not sound like me?
Then I fix it, and the guarantees make that formal. Starter Spec buyers get two patches within 14 days, by email: send me what the AI wrote and tell me what didn't click (be as specific as you can). Then I patch it up and send you an updated version. Not happy with your spec after 14 days? You get your money back. Live Session clients get 30 days of calibration on their real copy, with a patch every Friday, then 30 more days to use the voice and decide. Not happy with your Voiceprint after 60 days? You get your money back. The full wording lives in the terms. One condition, and it's the fair one: the spec has to be installed in the tools writing your copy. A spec in a drawer sounds like a drawer.
Starter Spec or Live Session: how do I choose?
The Starter Spec reads two things: what you say about your voice in a self-serve session of about 30 minutes, and three to five pieces of your own copy. The Live Session reads three: what you say, what you publish, and what your gut picks, and we chat about the gaps live for 90 minutes. If you're one person with a clear sense of your voice, the Starter is the right first step. If several people and tools write for the brand and the drift is already visible, the Session ends it.
Can't I just paste my free quiz result into my AI?
You can, and it'll help a little. Your quiz result is eight numbers from a three-minute read of what you say about your voice, and eight numbers are a coordinate. Paste the quiz numbers alone and the AI translates them its own way: the first draft lands close, the fifth drifts, and by the tenth Default Voice has moved back in.
Will my copy be marked as AI-generated?
Here is the honest answer: some platforms now embed invisible provenance marks in generated text. The marks say a machine typed the words. They say nothing about whether the voice is generic, and the voice is what your reader notices.
What happens when the AI models update?
Your spec survives, because it's text. What can change is how tightly a new model follows it. So after a major model update, reinstall the spec fresh, run one test piece, and compare. A clean install puts the spec back at full strength. Inside your included period (14 days on the Starter, 60 on the Session), if something still reads off after that, tell me what didn't click and I patch it.
